“Somewhere to Be” is an emotional reckoning with the grip of social media addiction and the silent cost it can have on real-life connection. The artist poured years of lived experience into this track, and from the moment I heard the raw take, I knew it needed a mix that felt as honest and vulnerable as the message itself.
We worked hard to preserve the intimacy of the vocal while shaping a mix that builds with purpose - never flashy, always focused. Every reverb tail, every space in the arrangement had to serve the story: one of distraction, regret, and ultimately, reflection.
Huge thanks to George Marios for trusting me with something so close to the heart. I'm proud of what we created together - it's a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful songs come from the hardest truths.
